Did you know that the health of Missouri is closely related to the strength of our construction industry? A vigorous construction industry means jobs for our state’s workers and growth for the small businesses that support it.
Missouri construction experienced a sharp decline during the great recession. However, according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, it has made a full recovery and has only seen small fluctuations in the last two years. But in this booming economy, there can be threats to the general well-being, including worker shortages that impact everything from worksite safety to project costs.
That’s why organizations like Association General Contractors of Missouri (AGCMO) are vital to the strength—and future growth—of this region. AGCMO is our state’s leading civil, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure contractor association. Their Supplier and Service Provider Council Members support the industry through networking, advocacy, and training.
Knowing how essential this organization is to our economy, we’re pleased to announce Alliance Technologies’ Chief Operating Officer Jared Peno’s appointment to the ACGMO Council.
As COO of Alliance Technologies, Peno directs a team that is continually developing and delivering innovative IT services to its clients.
In his volunteer role as a member of AGCMO’s council, Peno will share his experience and passion to those assisting Missouri’s general contractors. He’ll also contribute his knowledge to the AGCMO BuildMO weekly newsletter.
Join us in congratulating Jared Peno as he energizes Missouri’s construction industry with his technical expertise, and supports the growth of our great state.
